Just recently I have been recieving photos and icons along with e-mails of gratitude! Thank you everyone for all your feedback and suggestions! I learn to be a better person and craftsman from all your feedback. Keep them coming!

I just want to tell you again how much I love the violin you so beautifully repaired for me. Here's a picture I took one morning shortly after receiving it back.

Dear Brian,
Thank you for taking a look at my daughter's broken violin bow. Your services were very helpful from beginning to end--and you gave us great advice. Simply in terms of your customer service and genuine, honest approach to our instrument problem, I would highly recommend you to anyone for instrument advice and repair. You go above and beyond the call of duty! Thanks!

It has arrived! Everything intact with sound post and bridge in place.

You did a fabulous job. It looks really good and not at all like the scruffy little creature I sent you. That crack closed up nicely, the fingerboard looks great, and so do the fittings. It feels really good to hold which matters since I play without a shoulder rest.

I’ll have to let you know how it sounds and plays, and, since tomorrow is a holiday for us we’ll have plenty of time to get acquainted! It’s arrival could not have been better timed!

Thank you so much for all you’ve done. I just feel a connection to this violin that I can’t explain. You have given it a new life which I look forward to making a part of mine..

Just a note to say how pleased and happy I am with the sound. It appeals to me very much. Clarity, projection, warmth! Very responsive and easy to play too! I really couldn’t be happier.

This is the violin I want to pick up and play and now can, thanks to you!

Hi Brian,
I met with the violin teacher for my daughter today. She had heard of you from another musician and said that he highly recommended you. I can't remember his name. Anyway I gave her your card and hope you get some calls from it. Both the teacher and music store owner felt the violin had a very warm sound, and that it was well worth repairing. They were also impressed with the repairs you made and thought it was great that you put on the fully adjustable tail piece. Your attention to detail in repairing it and setting it up for my daughter was great. My mom was so pleased to see it and can't wait to hear it played again by a family member. Thanks for the wonderful work you did. You may add me to your list of references.

It arrived today and it is beautiful. The varnish touch up is beyond what I thought was possible; it's amazing. Thank you so much, you not only restored my violin but you also brought a piece of my mother back to life. If you ever need a reference, feel free to use me.

The violin arrived today safe and sound. It turned out beautifully. Thank you so much. I’m not sure what kind of musician you are, but you are truly a great restorer! If you ever need a reference, please feel free to give them my name and e-mail.

Thank you so much for the beautiful restoration work you did on my violin. It was so badly cracked and poorly repaired, that I felt it would break whenever I touched it. Now it sounds great. I was a bit nervous about shipping it to your shop, but all went well. I am especially grateful for the photos with explanations that you sent as the work progressed. Thanks again, I’ll let my fiddler friends know about your superior workmanship.

Hi Brian!
I received the violin this evening and I absolutely love it! You did an amazing job on it -- so much better than I ever imagined. It looks phenomenal.

Hey, and thank you for the case, too. It was a great surprise, and very generous and thoughtful of you. I used some Murphy's Oil Soap on the case and you won't believe how good it looks. The grain came right back and it even has some luster to it.

I will recommend your services to everyone I talk to, and if you ever need a reference, please feel free to give my name.

Hi Brian,
Thanks for the update. WOW! Pretty amazing seeing the instrument taken apart. Interesting about the cracked tail block. If that wasn't found what would have eventually happened? Just curious.

And the worm holes. I hope that didn't happen on my watch. Since it was never taken apart while I owned it, if repair attempts were made, it had to be before I got it and that was a long, long time ago. As I mentioned it was not new when I got up. Could the previous repair attempts have been from the top? Maybe "Unsolved Mysteries" will do a show about it.

It is nice to see the work that is being done, and I am always fascinated by the work of true craftsmen. Thanks.
